New Week & new Activity

Friday I went to the movies with a group from the office who are all devoted fans of Stieg Larssen and his book, The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo. Hence the Swedish film of the same name that opened last week to good reviews. We and other obvious groupies of this author who wrote 3 sensational books and then dropped dead of a heart attack were out in force, laughing before the jokes hit and understanding before the knife sliced. It is a murder thriller after all. I was so pumped from seeing this film and loved it so much that Arnie went to see it on Saturday and also loved it.

Easy weekend with the usual plus dinner with friends on Saturday night at a local Mexican restaurant and then Sunday was just a hang out day. Persian Day Parade went off without a hitch before it started to rain -- zounds we've certain had enough rain -- and then just at home. Kate finished her book, Angels & Demons on Saturday and was fascinated by everything that happened in Dan Brown's book so we looked it up on line to help distinguish between fact and fiction. I'm sure that she will go on and read the DaVinci Code and there is another huge website to help people sift out fact from fiction. It's also a great way to get kids interested in going to Italy if only we were going!

So this is her last week of spring break and it's off to Architecture camp, so called, tomorrow. We will see.
